Qualifications:  1-2 years of professional childcare experience as a nanny, daycare/preschool teacher that can be verified; have a reliable car & auto insurance; be able to make at least a one year commitment unless otherwise indicated; at least 21 years of age; no child of your own to bring unless otherwise indicated; CPR/1st Aid/Universal training are very important; and HUGE LOVE FOR CHILDREN. Positions are located throughout entire Denver/Boulder Metro Area.

 

FULLTIME POSITIONS / PERMANENT

4-day week, Tuesday thru Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. FAMILY SHARE. AVAILABLE: ASAP.

CENTRAL DENVER, Congress Park near 6th & Colorado. (EST)  These two professional and very down to earth couples are seeking a self-confident, active & energetic nanny for three children: 3 month old girl; 18 month old boy; 2 year old boy. You must have experience with caring for multiple children at a time and be comfortable juggling three different ages, schedules, and learning/development levels... Almost like being in a pre-school/daycare setting. These parents live across the street from each other in a great Congress Park neighborhood; are eager to invite someone who is seeking a long-term and stable relationship with their children; and will provide their kids with a happy and safe environment where they can learn, develop, and thrive. Please only reply to this position if you reviewed this job and said without hesitation, "this is right up my alley!" And, have very recent experience caring for three children at once. DOGGY ALERT: Dogs are at these locations, so must love animals!

Monday thru Friday: Available immediately at 35 hours a week, then goes to 45 hours a week in August. AVAILABLE: May 29, 2012.

CENTRAL DENVER, Holly & 3rd.  (JAB) This professional couple is seeking a warm, responsible full time nanny to care for their two energetic little girls ages 4 and 2. They are talkative, fun, and loving. The kids will be going to school at different times (the older one 5 afternoons per week and the younger one 3 mornings per week), so the nanny will have only one child at a time for much of the week. Mom and Dad encourage lots of excursions (zoo, children's museum, park, pool) when they are not in school or at a class.  Additional responsibilities are to keep the house and the kids' belongings organized and clean; making beds, emptying the dishwasher, dumping trash, laundry, grocery shopping, making sure the kids toys are put away, etc.  (If you are interested and willing to clean the house weekly you will be additionally compensated accordingly). They live in a great neighborhood near Cherry Creek, and look forward to meeting applicants who have the above qualities and enthusiasm!

CASTLE PINES, I-25 & Castle Pines Pkwy. (KSP)  This busy Mom and Dad have three active children; 9, 7 and 3 year old daughters, all of whom are in school with various schedules and locations. Their ideal scenario is the above schedule for before school assistance (getting the kids up, dressed, fed, and ready for and taken to school), and afternoon schedule to include household management (laundry, errands, light meal prep, food shopping, miscellaneous projects), and after-school care for the girls. If you enjoy being busy, are organized and very reliable, have a great sense of humor and are playful, as well as able to assist or encourage the girls with homework, AND would like a few hours off in the middle of the day, this is a great position for you. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 32 hours a week (two are 10 hour days; two are 6 hour days) . AVAILABLE: Mid May 2012.

CENTRAL DENVER, Mississippi & University. (JSF) Professional parents of two little boys, 6 months old and 3 years old. Their toddler is a sweet, affectionate boy, testing boundaries and gaining some independence! He loves singing, dancing, playing with trains, digging, and going down slides. He enjoys working on his letters and numbers; is a little shy at first, but can be won over pretty easily by someone who is happy & upbeat. Ideal candidate has the ability to engage him with educational activities, have dance parties, utilize Love and Logic principles, and show him lots of affection. The baby is finding his voice and crawling; full of smiles and laughs and is loving his solids which he just started. You will need to win him over with love & affection since he's not great with strangers and lets you know vocally when he's not happy. Mom and Dad ask that you work with him on developmental milestones, and keep a consistent schedule. Additional responsibilities are child-related ( boys' room, laundry, kitchen (mostly just unloading the dishwasher), and vacuuming when possible. You must be comfortable with Mom and Dad sometimes working at home. If you love being busy and are extremely energetic for two little boys, please contact us right away. DENVER, Park Hill (25th & Dahlia). (VRP) These professional parents are seeking an experienced infant/toddler nanny for their 6 month old son, and for their 3 year old son who will be in school a few afternoons a week. Ideal candidate is highly engaging and interactive; creative, thoughtful and organized to provide educational and fun daily activities; patient and very reliable; and who will help with all child-related chores. They live very close to City Park, zoo, museums and they encourage fun outings.The baby is sweet, happy, and loves affection, going on walks, and being read to. Their older son is bright, social, active, talkative, and inquisitive, and also enjoys his quiet time each day! Mom has a home office so you must be comfortable with this arrangement and keep the boys well occupied. Mom and Dad invite open communication and mutual respect, and are looking for someone who will partner with them in encouraging their children to be kind and happy children. NO PETS HERE.

SE AURORA, E-470 & Smokey Hill.   (NLM) Career parents of two children, 6 year old girl (in 1st grade in Fall) and 8 month old boy, seeking an experienced infant nanny who is loving, caring, and already knowledgeable about infant/toddler development. Mom and Dad would love someone who will actively participate in daily activities for the baby's motor skill development, including lots of reading, puzzles, games, indoor & outdoor play; in addition to lots of playtime with their daughter when she is not in school (games, crafts, walks, sports, playdates, etc.). Must have reliable transportation for drop off and pick up at school; prepare healthy meals for the kids. Additional responsibilities include some light chores, keeping the house tidy, and children-related laundry. Reliability and flexibility are important.

CENTRAL DENVER, Near Alameda & Downing.  (JKL)  This couple is seeking an experienced toddler nanny for their 2 1/2 year old daughter to provide her with lots of love, playtime, educational activities both indoor and outdoor; and to keep her happy and safe throughout the day. Mom and Dad are looking to invite someone who can become part of their family and has excellent communication skills about their little girl's day. Additional responsibilities could include child's laundry, light meal prep, tidy up around the house, and kitchen clean up.

SUMMER POSITIONS, 2012

Central Denver, 6th & Holly. (MV) AVAILABLE: Mid-end May for entire summer.

Fulltime schedule, Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with some flexibility needed for occasional earlier start or later end time;  for two children, 5 & 8 for the summer. Lots of activities with the kids including educational and outings to the zoo, museum, parks; and reading books, and letting them learn and explore. Light chores picking up after the children, meal prep, kids' laundry, and anything that would make their lives easier at the end of the day. Provide their children with a happy, safe, and active summer.
